What Are Essential Oils?

An essential oil is a substance created in an aromatic plant that is oil soluble (blends well with other oils). aroma-316434Essential oils are either steam distilled or cold pressed.

Essential oils contain the protective makeup of the plant. They have a small molecular size and are lipid soluble which allows them to enter the skin quickly and easily. Also, because they are lipid soluble, they are able to cross the cell membranes.  Every cell in the body can be affected within twenty minutes.

They are harvested in their natural habitat and are free of fillers, pesticides and other contaminants. Every batch of oil is also tested by third party laboratories to ensure that the highest quality of oil has been produced and when used as directed, they can offer the amazing benefits without causing any harm.
